About Enea Bastianini

Enea Bastianini is an Italian motorcycle road racer. He was born on 30 December 1997, His nickname is "La Bestia" (The Beast). riding for the Ducati Lenovo Team in the MotoGP class. He won the 2020 Moto2 World Championship.

Bastianini, who is from Rimini, got his race number, 33, when he was just 3 years and 3 months old and learned how to ride a mini bike. Following a prosperous career in minibike racing, Bastianini competed in several classes, winning the 2012 season in the Honda RS125 Trophy, the Honda HIRP Trophy 100cc, and the MiniGP 70cc Italian Championship. When Bastianini participated in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2013, he finished the championship in fourth position with two wins. In addition, Bastianini made his Moto3 racing debut by competing in five Italian Championship events.

Riding for Team GO&FUN Moto3, Bastianini made his Moto3 World Championship debut in 2014. After securing two pole positions and five podium finishes, including four-second places, in the first eleven races of the 2015 season, Bastianini became the closest competitor to leader Danny Kent. Starting from pole position, Bastianini won his maiden race in Misano in September. Bastianini continues to compete with Gresini Racing Moto3 in the Moto3 class in 2016. With six podium finishes, a victory at Motegi, and 177 points overall, he concluded the season as the runner-up in the championship.

Enea Bastianini He joined the Italtrans Racing Team in 2019 and placed 10th overall with 97 points and one podium. With three victories and seven podium finishes, he ended the 2020 Moto2 season as the world champion, earning 205 points. When Bastianini crashed into turn 1 at the Austrian Grand Prix, his bike became trapped on the course. Aspar rider Hafizh Syahrin struck Bastianini's bike without looking, causing a huge pile-up that resulted in the red flag being raised. Neither rider was hurt in the incident.

For the 2021 MotoGP season, he joined Esponsorama Racing, where he was paired with fellow countryman and Moto2 opponent Luca Marini. Throughout the whole season, Enea Bastianini and Marini both raced Ducati GP19 motorcycles, which are two years old. Throughout the season, Bastianini consistently scored points. He then achieved his then-best result in Aragon, finishing in sixth place. He then repeated the same finish in Misano, COTA, and the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Misano, finishing third on the final lap. With 102 points, Bastianini ranked eleventh in the riders' standings at the end of the season.
